Behind the Scenes: Meet the Glamme Vine

We’ve enjoyed having the opportunity to introduce you to some fabulous bloggers who write for SHOP.COM’s Shopping Vine network. Last week we featured Rachel from the Gadgette Vine and the week before we talked to Tanja, who writes for the Dwell Vine. This week, we caught up with Lisa Cohen Lee, author of the Glamme Vine. She was happy to share her thoughts about blogging and fashion with us!

Why do you love to blog?
Blogging gives you a certain freedom to write about what you want. I like relating blogs back to myself and something in my life; it’s more like talking to a good friend.

What got you started in blogging?
Writing for SHOP.COM. The Glamme Vine is my first blog!

What’s your favorite topic to write about?
Beauty products. I love them and can’t say enough about them.

Describe yourself in one sentence:
I’m a mom, wife and writer with an eye for style and beauty.

Show us which blog post on the Glamme Vine you’re most proud of:
Well, this one wasn’t about products or trends, but about the passing of a dear fashion friend, who wrote some amazing books on fashion. I liked being able to have a forum to let everyone know how wonderful she was.

Which do you like better – Trend Shops or Registries? Why?
Trend Shops, because I love the visuals.

What’s your idea of a perfect Saturday afternoon?
Spending the day with my son in NYC, eating lunch at Fred’s at Barney’s NY and a visit to a museum or Central Park Zoo. We even love just browsing all the shops along Madison!

We have one more blog to feature next week! Share this post to get the word out about the Shopping Vine blog network and we’ll round out the interviews next Wednesday by talking about shoes!
