Behind the Scenes: Meet the Sole Vine

We’ve featured three lovely bloggers from The Shopping Vine over the last couple of weeks here on the ma® blog. Have you been checking out their blogs yet? Tanja gives you an insider look at sprucing up at home, Rachel brings you the funkiest gadgets on the market, and Lisa shares all things fashion!

Today, we’re rounding out our series on the Shopping Vine blog network by chatting with Corrie Shenigo, author of the Sole Vine. That’s right, this lady gets paid to write about shoes! What a dream! (She also writes for the Glamme Vine from time to time!) Without further ado, meet Corrie:

How long have you been blogging?
Oh sheesh… you never ask a gal her blogging age! (About 6 years now.)

What got you started in blogging?
I spent several years as an editor and freelance writer for fashion and lifestyle magazines like InStyle, Vogue and Angeleno. Writing for the internet was the natural progression and another way to share my love of all things fashion and beauty.

Describe yourself in one sentence:
Happy.

What’s your favorite topic to write about?
Since I write for both Glammevine.com about fashion and beauty, and am the editor for Solevine.com writing about the world of shoes — it’s hard to choose. Writing about both keeps everything chic and spicy.

What’s your favorite item you’ve purchased on Shop.com?
This question makes me realize I need to work less and shop more, but I did buy a gorgeous blood red Rebecca Minkoff MAB handbag recently. I adore it.

What’s your idea of a perfect Saturday afternoon?
Living in Los Angeles affords me the opportunity to put on my best heels for the theatre or a night out, and my sturdy hiking boots for a hike through the canyons. I love this city, because on a perfect Saturday I can do both.

We’d like to thank Corrie and all of the writers for the Shopping Vine blogs for graciously letting us feature them here. We adore their blogs and they’ve become daily reads for our social media team.
