Building the Business the Right Way in the UK

The following is an email I received from a seasoned pro and UnFranchise® owner, Phil Guido. Phil knows what it takes to build the business the right way – and is with us this week in London. Phil was also present at our unbelievable meeting last night at our apartment in Mayfair, London along with our new Motives® and UFP group.

The meeting I attended last night at your apartment in London was nothing short of astonishing. Eleven strong, inspired, motivated women. Some of them have had as little as 60 days of experience with Market United Kingdom and some had not yet even seen the business plan. But they ALL knew what they wanted and where they were going.

Indeed, there was no “dead weight” in that room. Even the girls who were as young as 19 described how laser-focused they are about creating their future by building a successful Market UK team. And they did it with ATTITUDE. They were as self-assured as any seasoned veteran I have ever met.

Jeyda and Sev  were amazing. Really cool to see their interaction, the permanent smiles on their faces, and to hear them describe the creative solutions they have already developed to streamline the way they create and register new customers. Natasha spoke about her dream to have the freedom she desires – to spend more time with her loved ones. The professional makeup artist who finally found the vehicle she has been searching for. ALL of them were impressive.

And there was something else impressive about last night’s meeting, and that was YOU and LOREN. People always talk about how you both get “out in the trenches” and work in the field, that you don’t just sit back in some huge office somewhere barking out orders to an army of employees. But to witness it in person and to be part of it is something special.

Real leaders do not teach what they do not know, and they do not lead where they will not go. Watching you both last night was like watching a pair of artists at work. It was obvious that you absolutely love what you do.

It was obvious that you cared a great deal about the new partners you were meeting with, and it appeared to be effortless. Such a simple thing…a meeting with a small group of people who are brand new to the business – simple and genius.

A bonding experience and mentoring session which gave everyone more confidence and belief than they had when they entered. And you couldn’t book all the follow-up meetings fast enough! They were all so eager to move to the next step.

I have been in this business 18 years and last night I was schooled by a pair of Masters, and impressed by a group of individuals who are in the very first days of what will transpire into the journey of a lifetime.

Not just by your words, but by your actions and your deeds you are proving to me, and thousands of other UnFranchise owners, all over again, just what this business is all about and how simple it really is when you do it the right way.
