At Market America, we’re fortunate to work for a company and with employees that care about our community. On Friday at Market America Headquarters in Greensboro MA employees kicked off our “Stuff the Truck” campaign – an effort to collect items to benefit Victory Junction.
For those that don’t know, Victory Junction is a nonprofit organization founded by Kyle and Pattie Petty that provides life changing experiences for kids with chronic medical conditions and serious illnesses. Since opening in 2004, Victory Junction has enriched the lives of more than 14,000 children and families from 50 states and four countries.
Those in attendance were treated to a special appearance from Conquer Entertainment recording artist and daughter of the legendary Ray Charles, Sheila Raye Charles. Sheila made this joyous occasion an unforgettable one with her rendition of “Behind the Shades.” Sheila has a one of a kind voice, but what makes her truly special is her heart. Sheila will be donating 25% of the proceeds of her book and album, “Behind the Shades” to the kids at Victory Junction.
Everyone here in the Market America Corporate Office is doing our part to help Victory Junction too, with a little healthy competition! The employees here have divided into teams and are competing to fill a truck with items for the Victory Junction camp. It will be interesting to see what team comes out on top, but in the end the children at Victory Junction will win.

Way to go Market America for coming along side Victory Junction to raise funds and awareness of the needs of those who are not as fornutate as others! The compassion warms my heart and gives me hope in a world that can be so self absorbed. Bless you all!
