As I pulled into the gas station this morning on the way to the Market America corporate office, I experienced a bit of sticker shock. “$3.85!” I proclaimed, “This is ridiculous.” I’m only 32, and even I remember a day when you could fill up your car for thirty bucks – but it seems like today you need a small business loan every time you fill up at the pump. In some parts of the country, gas prices are well above $4 a gallon, and with summer fast approaching it seems there’s no break in sight.
